Class Information
Quality Driving has been approved to do the DOL testing in our classrooms. Students need to study for the written test. Students need there Certificate before applying to do written test or drive tests.. 80% passing grade. Our price includes the testing as part of the program. Tests will be given on a special day or by appointment only.
Quality Driving will offer classes 3 times or 2 times a week for the fall/ winter sessions. . A notebook and a writing tool is needed when you come to class.
Do you ever wonder why we are so inexpensive? Quality Driving believes every student deserves the opportunity to take driver education no matter what the parent circumstances. We do not cut corners on the education of your teens. Quality Driving does an excellent job of teaching your student to drive. Where we do cut corners are on rent,( simpler less expensive buildings) the cars that we use, which are ( Gas Savers). We offer 6 drives in the car, which gives the student an excellent opportunity to experience the real world. The Simulator that other schools use we incorporate in the lesson and so they do not even miss out on that.
Parents.
We need your help for your student to be sucessful. Students need to practice.
Parents need to attend a parent meeting on first day of class at 6:00 pm
If you sign up on the internet, a class will be held for you. You can call to set up an appointment to receive the Permit form.

- Permit up to 10 days early
- To get Permit go to dol.wa.gov at home page join now
- Text 10 digit number to 509-521-0812
- Completed 30 hours of class and written test
- Completed 6 hours of driving
- Completed 1 observation
- Paid all money owed including fines
- Received notice that class completion in on line
- Taken DOL written test
- Taken DOL DRIVE ( skills test after having Permit 6 months)

$150 down and 3months to pay remainder of cost. If not paid in the 3 months we will add $10 to cost of class weekly . Students need to be fully paid before any testing can be done. $370 FOR SUMMER

Drives
6 one hour drives. Schedule each week to complete by end of course. Student needs a lot of practice during the 5- 7 weeks of class in order to pass all elements and be ready to do final drive. Parents need to plan on practicing with each student at least 20 minutes a day. Drives are scheduled in class.The Student can pick their own time and date of drive. 1 hour of observation needed. This is when a student rides in the back seat of the car and watches and listens to the instructor.
*Quality Driving is trying to achieve great drivers. We have limited space in classes. Parents and students who do not have the time to take this course seriously will need to wait until they are ready to do the work involved.

Quality Driving gives 15 lessons. . 6 hours of driving and the student needs to complete 1 observation in Drivers Ed car. When everything is paid for including fines then they can take the state testing. DOL has done away with certificates and now students will receive a text message stating all information is online for DOL to complete the licensing process.
